Lake Regional Health System is seeking a Patient Transporter to join our Radiology team at our hospital campus located in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks area.

Key Responsibilities
Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of the need for customer satisfaction, promotes, and provides patient focused services, and is responsive to the needs of all customers.
Engages in creating and maintaining a positive, ethical and productive department and workplace that contributes to achieving progress on LRHS culture and strategic initiatives.
Performs duties professionally, effectively, and in a timely manner to ensure cost-efficient and safe operation of the service provided while complying with all employment laws and regulatory agencies including Federal, State and TJC.
May assist with complaint resolutions and maintains professional attitude and behavior.
Responds to change with open communication and a willing attitude.
Possesses the ability to work with other hospital departments in a collaborative manner.
Assist patients or lifting patients into wheelchairs or stretchers.
Transport patients to various locations in the hospital for medical procedures or to an exit and assist with patient moves on and off exam table.
Comfort patients and their family members by offering support and encouragement.
Comply with health, safety and sanitation regulations.
Provide information and directions to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
BLS certification (training provided free of charge through Lake Regional)
Excellent customer service skills
Annual influenza vaccine required.
Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.
