Steel guitarist looking for new stuff (Jefferson City)

I am from Jefferson City, but I am hoping to find some vibrant weekly jam session or a cool prospect to entice me to travel to Kansas City.

I prefer progressive blues, eclectic rock and folk, country, jazz, and funk.
I've played dobro and lap steel for 50 years and pedal steel guitar for 25 years (still a newby).
