As a Business Developer you’d get to be out in the field everyday developing community relationships and providing value to our customer base.
You’d be integral in helping us achieve our Company Mission: To actively provide an enduring company that cares for the needs of our community with confidence.
Responsibilities include:
· Identify and initiate contact with new target referral sources to build strong relationships, bringing in new sources of revenue for the company.
· Continue to build relationships with existing referral sources.
· Actively participate in industry related trade organizations and execute effective networking practices to expand customer base and brand awareness.
· Create and deliver presentations to groups.
· Meet sales targets determined by Manager.
· Assist General Manager and Owner in establishing the procedures, metrics and best practices of this outside selling and marketing role.
Ideal candidate will possess:
· Uncompromising integrity and honesty.
· Ability to self-manage schedule and responsibilities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to network within the community and industry groups successfully.
· Creative ideas to bring value adds to prospects and referral sources.
· Demonstrated track record of achievement in sales.
· Ability to develop an online marketing plan.
· Proficiency using current technology, MS Office, and CRM software (Hubspot in particular), and online marketing tools.
· Experience in selling a service as well as selling to the Insurance, Property/Facility Management and Plumbing industries.
· Valid driver’s license and the ability to work both in the office and in the field.
This job is all about developing relationships, and there for compensation will be greatly affected by sales commissions.
