Agilix Solutions currently has an opening for Inside Sales at our Columbia, MO Branch.
This position is a full time Inside Selling role that is responsible for sales growth with light customer facing touches leveraging a well-defined strategic plan with outbound tactical communication execution.
This role will report to the Branch Administrative Manager.
*Responsibilities:* * Enter quotes, sales orders and create purchase orders.
Maintain accurate data entry of customer's information.
* Handle customer service-related issues to meet the needs of the clients and vendor relations.
* Act as a technical resource for supporting day to day activities.
* Inside Sellers will be responsible for Lead Follow Up on any unassigned leads generated via social media, web, or traditional marketing methods.
* Support Outside Account managers.
Establish relationships and have the ability to cultivate opportunities.
* Provide sales support to the inside team.
* Excellent vendor relationships and follow up.
* Attend various training sessions as recommended by manager.
* Will be provided the ability for after hour’s access to web training portals.
* Participate in the 24-Hour Emergency Pager rotation.
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in inside sales or a customer service environment.
Previous PC experience and an ability to navigate through multiple systems and platforms preferably Microsoft Office and Excel.
* Demonstrated customer service skills and data entry.
* Have assertiveness, goal setting, and commitment to task, persuasiveness, & problem-solving ability.
* Ability to work as a team member executing as part of an overall company strategy for reaching new and existing customers and creating demand for targeted products and services.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate highly technical products and services.
* Strong presentation skills in group and individual situations.
* Familiarization with Automation Products, Industrial Supply Products, and Sensor applications would be a plus.
