Assist customers at the Counter/over the phone, etc.
This includes selling the materials they are requesting, sourcing the materials when needed, asking the right questions, ensuring they get what they need, problem solving, strong follow-up and communication.
Provide a great customer experience by providing great customer service as inside support for customer accounts as assigned.
Including expediting orders, follow-up on outstanding items, keep customer informed as to order status, etc.
Additionally, performing any function necessary to take care of customers and ensure efficiency in branch operations, including but not limited to, entering and releasing tickets; preparing bank deposits; resolving issues; accurately and timely filling customer orders; receiving and putting away material; cycle counts; backing-up delivery driver, making deliveries to job sites as needed; participate in education/training opportunities, take advantage of resources available, to ensure the ability to provide our customers related expertise and knowledge that is key to the level of service we can offer, and, which can help you to achieve your career goals.

Desired skills and abilities:
Knowledge of electrical and/or plumbing products is strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to effectively juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Positive Customer Service attitude, friendly demeanor
Effective time management, organization skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have or be able to obtain, a Class E (Chauffer's) license.
Good driving record.
Ability to exude professionalism, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity when dealing with customers, employees, internal associates at all levels.
Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information.
Team player, able to work well under pressure.
Acceptable computer aptitude.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, sit, walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach or carry.
Occasionally required climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequently required to lift up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
Regularly required to talk and hear; read and identify numbers.
Regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic in performing daily tasks.
Required to be able to safely operate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, wire-cutting machine.
